本研究では、経営者の経営スキルを経営者間で共有することによる企業の活性化や改革のフィージビリティを検証し、ホームページ等の電子的なメディアを用いて半ば自立的に経営スキルを共有するための経営者によるネットワークを構築し、企業活性化や組織改革に有効な情報(組織運営方策情報)を見極め流通させることであった。経営者間での経営スキル共有のための実験的な勉強会を2つ(双方ともメンバー数は4人、すべて異業種)発足させ、自主的な勉強会や講師を招いての研修会をほぼ毎月開催した。その結果、有効な経営スキルあるいは組織運営方策情報を共有し、それによってそれぞれの会社の活性化や改革を進めることは可能であることが確認された。しかし、これを成功させるためには幾つかの条件が必要となることも判明した。具体的には、(1)メンバー間およびコーディネータ、講師との完全な信頼関係、(2)勉強会を推進し舵取りするためのコーディネータ(経営者以外)の必要性、である。このため、当初の目論見は経営者グループの勉強会を発展的に解散し、各経営者にコーディネータとなっていただいて、このような勉強グループを自己増殖させることであったが、これは不可能であることが判明した。また2つのグループ間での経営スキル等の共有は、ある程度可能と思われる結果を得たが、単純にマニュアル的な組織運営方策を、文書などで伝えてもさほど効果はあがらない(内容を真に理解することができない)ようであった。これらの点から、電子的なメディアの有効活用のためには、(1)守秘義務やセキュリティが保てるクローズドなコミュニケーション環境、(2)エピソードなどの実話や物語的な素材を通した情報提供、(3)メンバーおよびコーディネータとの双方向インタラクティブな環境、(4)理解を促進させるためのマルチメディア性などの要件が不可欠と考えられ、これらの要件の実現が今後の課題となる。
