「バイオ・ベンチャー企業の創業及び創業支援に関する日米比較」という課題における今年度の研究実績としては、7月の米国における東・西海岸の大学及びバイオ・ベンチャー企業の調査、国内のバイオ・ベンチャー企業、さらに同様の問題意識に基づく拡張した地域として、英国及びドイツのバイオ・ベンチャー企業、バイオに特化したベンチャー・キャピタル、TLO、サイエンス・パーク等を調査した。また、関連する活動として、7・8月にドイツのTechnical University of Hamburg-Harburgから文部科学省平成13年度若手外国人研究者短期研究プログラムに基づき博士課程院生のChristian Muller氏を日独バイオ産業比較の研究を目的に所属機関で指導し、愛知県の(財)科学技術交流財団における平成13-14年度の「バイオ・ベンチャー創業におけるビジネス・モデルの財務的評価に関する研究会」を計5回主催した。平成13年度内の国内の調査対象としては、生理活性物質を独自方法で開発する中堅企業、老化の遺伝的研究をするベンチャー企業、DNA自動抽出機を開発するベンチャー企業、ゲノム解析ベンチャー企業、エフェクター細胞ベンチャー企業、特許ヴァリュエーションを行う米国ベンチャー企業の日本支社、DNAからたんぱく質を高純度で合成する大学発ベンチャー企業など18社について聞き取り調査をした。米国での調査では、7月に東海岸ではMillpore社、Princeton大TLO、Curis社、Harvard大TLO(非医学系)、Double Twist社、Quantum Dot社、Yale大TLO、西海岸ではUC BerkeleyのTLO、MitoKor社、Arena社の聞き取り調査をした。調査の成果は、6^<th> lnternational Conference on Global Business and Economic Development,Bratislava,Siovakia、4^<th> McGill Conference in International Entrepreneurship,Glasgow,UK、R＆D Management Conference,Dublin,Irelandなどの国際会議、研究・技術計画学会年次学術大会、日本中小企業学会全国大会、日本経営学会編経営学論集、組織学会研究発表大会などの国内学会全国大会等で報告した。そして「中小公庫マンスリー」に論文が掲載予定である。また、もし機会があれば、この3年間の調査結果を印刷物にして、最終報告としたい。

The results of the survey were presented at the 6^<th>International Conference on Global Business and Economic Development,Bratislava, Slovakia, 4^<th>McGill Conference in International Entrepreneurship,Glasgow,UK, R&amp;D Management Conference,Dublin,Ireland, International Conference, Annual Academic Conference of Research and Technology Planning Society, National Conference of Japan Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Collection of Management Science compiled by Japan Economic Society, Research Development Conference of Organization Society, National Conference of National Society of China, etc. The paper "Small and Medium Public Treasury" is published in the paper. The results of this three-year investigation were printed and finally reported.
