本研究の目的は研究成果を有効に社会に還元するシステムの一部を開発することにある。研究の企画の段階から産業界と情報交換をすることで、大学の研究成果が円滑に産業界に移転されることを期待した。1.研究企画提案集の作成 工学研究科をモデルとした。教官から123件の応募があった。これらにはアイデアが盛り込まれているため一般公開、企業(3段階で公開、1-3次公開)向けに編集し、「研究企画集Vol.1(50件)、Vol.2(73件)」(一般公開、1次公開情報を掲載)とした。上場企業、九州地区に本社、支店等を有する企業を中心に約2,000社にVol.1をアンケートとともに配布した。2.企業の反応 アンケートの回収は263件(13.5%)。Vol.2の配布を希望する企業は73.8%で、同様な情報の提供を求めている。更に詳細な開示(2次開示)を124社が要求し(1社あたり3件内に制限した)、延べ292件の2次開示を行った。これは公開した企画1件につき、平均6社が興味を示したことになる。この段階では教官名を開示していないので、すべての情報は、研究代表者の下に集約され、戦略的な情報の活用が可能である。また、提案に興味を示した企業名は企画提案教官に開示した。共同研究のための3次開示(教官名を含む開示)を請求した企業は2社であった。3.ヒアリング 3次開示を求めた企業に対し、企画を提案した教官と3者で意見交換の場を設け、企業の課題、教官の研究シーズを突き合わせた。共同研究への展開を検討中である。今後は、Vol.2の配布と課題に興味を示した複数の企業に共通の課題を抽出し、課題解決のためのプロジェクトを再提案し、コンソーシアム形の研究開発を提案する。産学連携の非常に有効な手段となる可能性があると思われる。
