Two experiments for barrier free oriented Web design for the Aged were designed. First was contrast sensitivity and color coordinate. For the Aged, it was shown that the most effective color design is positive (dark text on the light backgrounds) contrast polarity with over 4 : 1 brightness ratio. On the other hand it was not so good for the Aged such as one which is positive with under 3 : 1 brightness ratio, negative (light text on dark backgrounds) and same color combination with low contrast. Second was icon image. The experiment was developed for three icon group such as object icon, operation icon and condition icon. As the results of the experiments, cognition ratio of the icon image to the object and condition decrease depend on age.Especially, it was not so good for the person of advanced age.These data suggest that it is necessary for some icons of object and condition to improve icon image.

设计了两个面向无障碍老年人网页设计的实验。首先是对比灵敏度和颜色坐标。对于老年人来说，最有效的色彩设计是正面的（浅色背景上的深色文字）对比极性，亮度比超过4:1。另一方面，对于老年人来说，它就不那么好了，比如亮度比低于3:1的正片，暗背景上的浅色文字和低对比度的相同颜色组合。其次是图标形象。实验针对对象图标、操作图标和状态图标三个图标组进行。实验结果表明，随着年龄的增长，图像对物体和条件的认知率呈下降趋势。特别是，这对老年人来说不是很好。这些数据表明，有必要对某些对象和条件的图标进行改进。
