项目摘要

本研究は、この3年間、産業集積における「柔軟な連結」の動的達成プロセスの解明に、「熟練」「コーディネーション」「相互学習」の3つの観点から、調査研究をとりおこなってきた。本年度は私の出産と重なり、自分自身が遠方の地域に積極的に赴くことが困難であったため、産業集積の関連領域の研究活動に取り組んでいる諸氏と連携を取りつつ、地域間比較に取り組んだ。具体的には、大田区(東京都)、広域多摩(東京都)、長岡(新潟県)、華南(中国の広東省)の工業集積、及び横山町(東京都)の商業集積の間の比較をおこないながら、歴史的な変化も含めて「柔軟な連結」の動的達成プロセスを考察した。例えば、これまで指示待ち型であった現場の人が、まわりの企業からの影響を受けつつ、いかに提案型・企画型の仕事人に転換していったのか、またこのような転換がなかなか起こらず停滞している地域では何が問題なのかといった問いを考察した。本研究の独自性は、企業の境界を超えた複数主体間の関係性の上で、熟練をとらえなおしたところにある。これまでも、第1の「熟練」の観点だけ、または第2の「コーディネーション」(ネットワーク)の観点だけに限定した産業集積の調査研究は多数存在したが、第1と第2の観点を関係付け、さらには第3の「相互学習」の観点まで有機的に関係付けた視野から、産業集積の動的メカニズムをとらえた研究は少ない。本研究の成果は、「日本の中小企業研究」に掲載されたレビュー論文の執筆に生きた。さらに、本年度秋の組織学会において、「大田区町工場群による『柔軟な連結』の達成プロセス」として発表し、貴重なコメントを受けた。地域間比較によるアプローチは、現在も進行中の取り組みであるため未発表であるが、「大田区、広域多摩、長岡、華南、及び横山町における産業集積実態報告書」としてまとめることができた。今後もさらなる研究の発展に尽力したい。

This study covers the following 3 years: industrial accumulation,"soft link" movement,"proficiency","mutual learning", and research. This year, we are focusing on production, dividing ourselves into distant regions, actively pursuing difficulties, integrating research activities in related fields, and comparing regions. Specifically, the comparison of industrial clusters in Ota-ku (Tokyo), Hiro-ku Tama (Tokyo), Nagaoka (Niigata), and Huanan (Eastern Province of China), and commercial clusters in Yokoyama (Tokyo) was examined, including the realization of "soft links" in the history of transformation.
