项目摘要

1研究の概要(讃岐近世歴史素材のマルチメディア型データベース作成)本研究は,香川(讃岐)地域の歴史素材のデータベース化とマルチメディア型歴史学習教材の開発を目的とする。江戸時代は,中世と現在の橋渡しの時期で,歴史資料も豊富であり,たとえば城跡や城下絵図からは,現在社会にその影を色濃く残していることも読み取れる。ここでは,地域に根ざした歴史学習教材開発のために,江戸時代讃岐の歴史を物語る城跡,絵図や各種の歴史資料の電子化教材を開発する。対象にする素材は,温暖,少雨,内海型の讃岐地方の特徴を表す塩田資料やため池,北前船などの海上輸送や朱印状,親藩大名としての城郭遺跡,町並み絵図,新田開発や河川改修資料など,現在の香川県を連想できる歴史資料とする。これらの資料は,写真やスキャナでイメージ化するとともに,時代背景や由来などの説明項目を付加してデータベース化を図る。素材は121個あり,各素材をID,素材名,説明文,年代などの9項目で記述し,データベースソフト,アクセスで管理する。2実践事例(附属高松中学校)本データベースを利用する中学校の社会科授業を実施した。弘法大師を生んだ讃岐では,四国88ヶ所巡礼の風習は,今なお私たちの生活に深くかかわっている。授業では,巡礼にまつわる習慣,足跡などの学習を通して,背後にある「お接待,おもてなし」の風習までにも展開させた。生徒にとっては,人間社会のあり方など,歴史学習を超えた幅広い学習機会となった。3期待される効果(体験に基づく歴史学習,マルチメディア・リテラシの育成)新しい世紀に向けた教育では,基礎基本の精選と,生徒が主体的に学ぶ総合学習にある。総合学習では,生徒の意欲・関心を引き付ける魅力ある素材がキーポイントになる。本研究では,身近にある歴史素材を取り扱うので,生徒にも親しみやすく,体験的で有益な学習ができる。また,CD-ROMやインターネット検索を通した調べ学習により,情報化社会で必要なメディア・リテラシーの育成にもつながる。
