分担者が行っているパピヨンプロジェクトは辞書抽出の為に多言語語いデータ・ベースを構築することを目的としている研究プロジェクトである。既存の辞書を興しパピヨン(構造をパピヨン独自の構造に変換して)へそれらを統合することを計画し遂行した。それがXMLの中でコード化され、パピヨン辞書を管理するために使用されるプラットフォームはさらに他の辞書も管理することができるようになった。また、2002年4月及び2003年3月に、自動的に既存のXML辞書を回復するためにフレームワークを定義しインプリメントし、それらの構造を修正せずに、それらを統合した。方法論としては、XMLの中でコード化された辞書メタデータ・ファイルを使用した。さらに、それらの構造について記述するXML図式からの既存のエントリーを編集するためのHTMLインターフェースを半自動的に生成するために同じく外国人特別研究員であるD. Thevenin氏と共同研究を始めた。本研究はGDEFプロジェクトまで拡張された。GDEFプロジェクトとは、使用法用として新しいエストニアのフランス語2か国語の辞書の構築に関るプロジェクトである。辞書は約50,000のエントリーを可能にした。領域は一般的なものを中心とした。本プロジェクトは、INALCOのAntoine Chalvin教授によって指図され、技術的プロジェクトに責任を負う辞書はパピヨンプラットフォームの使用により構築された。編集およびツールは、新しい辞書マクロ組織およびエントリー構造に適合された。
