1 第30回古代史サマーセミナー東京において、「古代王権と遺詔」と題し、口頭発表をおこなった。そこでは、天皇や太上天皇の遺言である遺詔を手がかりに、古代王権の変遷を検討した。唐代の遺詔との比較も踏まえつつ、推古から堀河までの遺詔を四期に分けて各時代の特徴・変遷を指摘するとともに、一貫した特徴として、即位儀礼において主要な位置を占めることがなかったこと、天下百姓に向けて布告されることはなく私的存在であったこと、内容の形式化とともにその奏聞自体が一つの儀礼として形骸化することなどを明らかにした。2 日唐律令制度における礼制研究のために、賤民制度の視角からの検討を試みたのが、論文「唐日律令賤民制の一考察-賤民間の階層的秩序について-」である。唐代の賤民制は、官戸・部曲と官奴婢・私奴婢の二段階に分かれていたが、両者は「婚」「妻」「姓」「家」などの礼思想に基づく要素において大きく差別されており、官戸・部曲が礼秩序の中に包含される存在であったのに対し、官私奴婢は礼秩序から排除された存在であったことを明らかにした。一方日本では、唐賤民制を模倣することで礼秩序の導入を図ったが、伝統的な賤民の存在形態から、独自の非階層的な性格を維持していたことを指摘した。3 中国における喪葬儀礼・墓葬制度研究のために、「大唐元陵儀注」(唐代皇帝の喪葬儀礼に関する史料)や「大谷文書唐代田制関係文書群」(中国西域の古墓から発掘された墓室内装飾品)の検討をおこなった。
