本研究の目的は、80年代半ば以降推進されてきた高校の個性化・多様化政策が、高校の進路形成機能をどのように変容させてきたか解明することにある。具体的には、「将来の夢」を描き、それに向けた進路選択や選択学習が体系的に導入される中で、長年学力による選抜・配分機能を果たしてきた高校教育、ひいては学校の選抜・配分機能がどのように変化しているか、(1)教育課程表の分析、(2)教員対象聞き取り調査、(3)教員対象質問紙調査、(4)高校生対象質問紙調査から解明することをねらいとしている。この目的のもと、今年度は下記の作業を行った。(1)進路指導主任対象質問紙調査の分析昨年3県の64校を対象に実施した進路指導主任対象の質問紙調査についてデータベース化し、各学校がどのような内容・方針の進路指導を行っているか等の観点から分析を行った。(2)進路指導主任、教務主任対象補充インタビュー調査・資料収集調査の実施昨年、一昨年に実施した進路指導主任、教務主任対象補充インタビュー調査・資料収集調査の補充調査を実施し、網羅的に情報を収集した。(3)先行研究の整理・理論の精繊化教育政策、若年労働市場学校から職業へのトランジション、学校の選抜・配分機能に関する国内・外の先行研究を引き続き収集・検討し、理論的な枠組みの精緻化をさらにおしすすめた。(4)論文の執筆上記の作業とこれまで行ってきた教育課程表の分析、高校生対象質問紙調査の分析を総合的に考察し、90年代以降新たに誕生した選抜・配分メカニズムについてモデルの提示を行った。この成果をまとめて論文の執筆した。
