本研究は,金融自由化をともなった経済グローバル化が,それぞれ独自な歴史的事情のもとに形成され独自な制度をもつ各国の経済システムにいかなる制度的不整合を持ち込むのか,また,この制度的不整合によってシステム全体が機能不全に陥ることがあるとすれば,それはいかなる条件のもとであるのかについて,考察を進めるものである。本年度は,1980年代以降に発生した先進資本主義国および新興市場国での金融危機を考察の事例とし,金融自由化が金融危機の発生に結びつくメカニズムを理論的に解き明かすことに中心課題を据えた。その結果得られた知見は次の6点ほどにまとめることができる。(1)金融自由化が金融脆弱性の程度に及ぼす影響は金融制度の完備した先進諸国とそれが未整備の新興市場国との間で異なるのは言うまでもないが,先進諸国相互間および新興市場国相互間での生産・金融システムの差異もまた,金融自由化の異なる帰結を生み出す大きな原因となりうる。(2)金融自由化が金融危機と結びつくのは,それが既存の銀行システムによる金融仲介機能を損なうようなディスインターミディエーション(脱金融仲介化)を急激に引き起こす場合である。(3)急激なディスインターミディエーションが金融危機を引き起こす理由は,それが既存の貨幣市場に潜在的な金利急騰圧力をもたらすことによる。(4)アメリカと日本の金融危機のパタンの差異は,ディスインターミディエーションによる潜在的利上げ圧力を制度的,政策的に抑え込むレジームが異なったことに起因する。(5)近年のアジア金融危機はグローバルな規模でのディスインターミディエーション(グローバル資本市場による金融統合)を基本原因とするものである。(6)ディスインターミディエーションの結果として生じる資本市場優位の金融システムがそれ自体として内包する金融脆弱性のリスクについては,以上の考察とは異なる別途の枠組みでの理論的検討を必要とする。

This study is aimed at exploring the causes of financial liberalization, the development of independent systems, and the non-integration of systems in various countries. This year, we will examine the financial crisis in advanced capitalist countries and emerging market countries since the 1980s, and examine the theoretical implications of financial liberalization for the emergence of financial crises. The result is that you know what you're doing. (1)The extent and impact of financial liberalization on financial vulnerability vary among advanced countries and among underdeveloped emerging market countries, and the causes of differences in financial liberalization among advanced countries and among emerging market countries. (2)Financial liberalization is a major cause of the financial crisis, and the financial intermediation function of existing banks is impaired. (3)The reasons for the financial crisis are as follows: (4)The differences between Japan's financial crisis and the underlying pressures on institutions and policies (5)In recent years, the financial crisis has become the basic cause of the financial integration of the capital market. (6)The results of the development of capital market advantages and the complexity of financial fragility are self-contained and included in the financial system. However, the above examination and discussion of different theories are necessary.
