It is a necessary and fundamental technique for realization of a semisubmersible type megafloat to connect as fast as possible two large scale units at construction site, which have been carried to the site by towing boats. In this paper, a new type of mechanical connector, which is based on an idea of three bodies problem, is proposed instead of welding. This mechanical connector may work well to connect two units at the site in spite of circumstances of some extent of relative motions between two units caused by waves. In the 2001 fiscal year, wave tank tests were carried out by using a semisubmersible type model with mechanica connectors in the deck girders. In the 2002 fiscal year, a relatively large deck girder model with a mechanical connector was tested in order to study more detailed behaviors corresponding to fundamental loads such as tension and compression, hogging and sugging bending, shearing force, torsional moment and iterative axial loads. It can be concluded from these test results that the proposed mechanical connector has a possibility of actual usefulness.
通过拖船将两个大型装置在施工现场尽快连接起来,是实现半潜式巨型浮船的必要和基础技术。本文基于三体问题的思想,提出了一种代替焊接的新型机械连接器。这种机械连接器可以很好地在现场连接两个单元,尽管两个单元之间存在一定程度的由波引起的相对运动。在2001财政年度,波浪舱试验采用半潜式模型,在甲板梁上安装机械连接件。在2002财政年度,为了更详细地研究其在拉、压、弯、剪力、扭转、迭代轴向荷载等基本荷载作用下的性能,对一个较大的带有机械连接件的甲板梁模型进行了试验。从这些试验结果可以得出结论,所提出的机械连接器具有实际用途的可能性。
