二年間で収集を行ってきたマニプル語約一万語の語彙について全体的な検討を加え,電子化語彙集の編纂を終了した。その際取り分け,マニプル語における幾つかの辞書編纂上の問題点を考慮した。その中で最も重要な点は,マニプル語が膠着言語であるために語彙単位と句単位との境界を区切る際に語長の決定が困難となっていることである。次に重要な点は,語クラスに従った基礎語根の分類に関わるものである。つまり,名詞と動詞のクラス間の弁別は比較的明白であるが,名詞と形容詞の間の弁別はしばしば非常に暖昧である。またマニプル語には接頭辞も接尾辞もあるが,接尾辞がはるかに多い一方で,幾つかの接頭辞は重複語の最初の要素に付加される場合がある。このような重複語や擬音語がマニプル語にはかなり多く見られるため,通常はそのまま見出し語と一致してしまうことになる。複合もまた,マニプル語の生成プロセスであり,この場合は名詞複合語が最も典型的なタイプである。本研究ではこれらのすべての問題を分析して明確な分類を提示している。マニプル語は2声調を持つ声調言語であるが,現在刊行されている辞書では各語に声調がマークされておらず,そのことが学習者の大きな障害となっている。声調がマークされていなければ母語使用者にとっても辞書の利用は困難である。本研究で編纂した語彙集においてはすべての重要語に声調がマークされており,それが非常に有用な特徴となっている。具体的な構成としては,マニプル語の形態上の複雑さを考慮して,(i)見出し語,(ii)文法範疇,(iii)定義,(iv)形態素区切り,の四つの情報を含んでいる。具体的な研究成果としては,2003年5月9日にアジア・アフリカ言語文化研究所言語学セミナーにおいて報告("Linguistic situation in Manipur")を行い,さらに,見出し項目約9000語の『マニプル語語彙データベース』を編纂し,近く刊行する。

In the past two years, the compilation of electronic word collections has been completed. Some problems in dictionary compilation should be considered. The most important point in the middle of the sentence is that it is difficult to decide the length of the sentence. The second important point is that the basic language root is classified into two categories.つまり,名词と动词のクラス间の弁别は比较的明白であるが,名词と形容词の间の弁别はしばしば非常に暖昧である。またマニプル语には接头辞も接尾辞もあるが,接尾辞がはるかに多い一方で,几つかの接头辞は重复语の最初の要素に付加される场合がある。This is the first time I've ever seen a word that's been repeated, but it's usually the same word. Compound words are the most typical compound words in this case. This study aims to analyze and classify the problems in the field of medicine. The language of the two tones is now published in the dictionary, and the tone of the language is now in the dictionary. It is difficult for native speakers to use the tone. This study compiles a set of important words and tones, which are very useful features. The concrete structure of the language is considered,(i) the language of origin,(ii) the grammatical category,(iii) the definition,(iv) the morphological element segmentation, and the information of the four elements is included. The specific research results were published on May 9, 2003 in a report entitled "Linguistic situation in Manipur" by the Institute of Language and Culture, and were recently published under the project "Compilation of Linguistic Words" in about 9000 languages.
