项目摘要

今年度の前半は、昨年まで行ってきた家計調査のデータを用いて、様々な計量モデルを用いてデータ分析、検証を行った。分析には、インドネシアの西ジャワ・サグリン地域の農村にて、ダム開発プロジェクトが実施された時から16年間の回顧的情報を400世帯に調査したパネルデータを用いた。400世帯の家計のパネルデータを用いて、研究計画で設定した3つの仮説、他人からの学習効果、リスクに対する態度、資金制約の三つの要因が、家計の養殖事業の投資決定にどのような影響を与えたかを検証した。養殖投資の意思決定と資金制約の二つの方程式を同時に推定することができる二方程式プロビットモデル(昨年度より分析)、またそれ以外に固定効果ロジットモデルなどを用いて結果の比較を行った。分析結果をまとめ、国際学会にて発表し、学会誌(Miyata and Manatunge,2004)に掲載された。さらに関連した研究をまとめ、国際学会にて、公表した(Miyata, APHW,2004)。当初の計画より遅れを生じたが、以上のようにいくつかの国際学会にて発表を行い、関連したテーマについて今年度の研究実績として報告でき、概ね順調に研究は進んだ。(また、博士論文も提出し、博士号を取得確定した。)昨年度に設定した目標である海外の学術雑誌への投稿、掲載を達成した。
