研究実績の概要平成15年度に私が行った研究では、立地-数量競争においての基本的な性質をさらに明らかにしていった。1(混合戦略均衡) 円環市場モデルにおいて、2企業存在する場合の混合戦略均衡の存在とその形状を導き、企業が負担する輸送費用の形により立地が変化することを示した。輸送費用が線形である場合は、非加算無限個の均衡が存在する。しかし、輸送費用が多少でも凸または凹性を持つと、それらの大多数が均衡とならない。また、任意の数nに対して、各企業がn地点に等確率で立地し、立地可能点を結ぶと正2n角形となる場合は、混合戦略均衡となる。この結果は、現実経済において企業立地が集積と完全離散のどちらでもない場合を説明できる。また、各企業の立地点が2の場合には、輸送費用が非線形である限り、この均衡の唯一性を証明した。よって、輸送費用の非線形性の重要性を示すことができた。この研究は現在、査読付き英文誌に投稿中である。題目はA Noncooperative Analysis of Circular Spatial Cournot Duopolyである。2(部分結託)線形市場において複数の企業が第1期に共同で全企業の立地点を決め、第2期に結託を行わずに数量競争を行うとする。これは、立地選択では結託、数量競争では結託をしていないという意味での部分結託と考えられる。結託がない場合は、企業は中央に集積するが、ここでは市場規模と企業が支払わなければならない単位輸送費の比が十分小さければ、企業は丁度2つの点で対称部分集積を起こすことを示した。中央集積は逆にその比が大きい場合成立する。社会的な視点から見ると、前者の場合、企業が部分集積の際に中央から離れようとする私的な誘因を過大に持つ。また、企業数の増加により、企業が均衡では2点に立地するにも関らず、中央集積が社会厚生を改善できるようなパラメータ範囲が広くなることを示した。この研究は、2003年度「社会科学研究」(東京大学社会科学研究所紀要)に掲載されることが決まっている。

Summary of research achievements in the past 15 years, the research on the basic nature of site-quantity competition has been carried out. 1. Mixed Strategic Equilibrium in the Circular Market; 2. The Shape of Mixed Strategic Equilibrium in the Presence of Enterprises; 3. The Shape of Transportation Costs in the Presence of Enterprises; 4. Transmission costs are linear, non-additive, infinite and equilibrium. How much is the transportation cost? How much is the transportation cost? For any number of n pairs, each firm has n locations with equal probability, and the locations may have nodes with positive 2n angles. The result is that the enterprise site is concentrated and completely discrete. The uniqueness of the equilibrium is proved when the transportation cost is non-linear and the location of each enterprise is 2. The importance of non-linearity in transportation costs is demonstrated. This research is now available in English. A Noncooperative Analysis of Circular Spatial Cournot Duopoly 2(partial settlement) linear market, a plurality of enterprises in the first phase of the common enterprise-wide location decision, the second phase of the settlement of the internal quantity competition. This means that there is a competition between the number of units and the number of units, which means that there is a partial trust.
