研究の重点:(1)各年代に著された字音資料の整理(1)13世紀---日本漢字音のひとつである鎌倉唐音の字音資料(2)16世紀---明代に出版された『日本考略・日本寄語略』、『日本風土記』の字音の整理(2)呉方言における中古音から現代音までの音韻変遷考察(1)平成14年度から昨年度までに明らかになった研究成果16世紀 明代昆山方音の字音整理(『「同文備考」音系』、丁鋒著、中国書店、2001年)参照。18世紀 韻書『古今韻表新編』の研究20世紀初 外国人宣教師による方言字典『The Ningpo Syllabary』の字音整理(紹興、寧波、台州)(2)中古音から現代音までを「中古音、13世紀、16世紀、18世紀、20世紀初、現代音」の6つに区分して、(1)の字音資料の整理と上記(2)(1)の研究をもとに、呉方言における中古果摂、仮摂、遇摂の3つの音韻変遷を考察した。成果の報告:(1)13世紀の呉方音における澄母という声母の発音の変化のゆれが、鎌倉唐音の禅宗系資料のかな表記に反映されていることが、(1)の作業を通じて明らかとなった。これについて、第53回九州中国学会(平成17年5月15日)「宋末元初の呉方音系-声母体系を中心として-」という題目で報告。また、(2)(2)の成果として、中国で2回の発表を行った。詳細は以下の通り。(2)「北部呉語果假摂的語音演変」という題目で、全国方言学会第13届年会曁漢語方言国際研討会(中国蘇州大学 平成17年9月24日)で発表を行った。(3)「北部呉語遇摂的語音演変」という題目で、第4届呉方言国際学術研討会(中国寧波大学 平成18年3月18日)で発表を行った。
