The Searchable Database of the Hisiorical Physical Apparatus of Kyoto University on the Internet

1)京都大学馆藏的英文主页我们准备了京都大学馆藏的英文主页。从现在开始，许多外国人都可以浏览主页。2)在主页上建立可搜索数据库我们建立了Sanko实验仪器收藏的可搜索数据库的主页，该数据库大约有550个项目。它可以通过设备名称，购买年份，交货供应商，制造商进行搜索。数据库显示的设备数据包括设备照片、购买年份等。3)收集科学仪器的书籍和目录我们收集了有关科学仪器的历史，特别是明治时代到第二次世界大战结束期间用于教育的物理仪器的书籍和文件。从战争结束到现在，我们复印了许多岛津公司的目录。通过这些目录，我们可以探索教育用物理实验设备的发展历程。

1) English Homepage of the Collection of College of KyotoWe prepared the homepage of the collection of College of Kyoto in English. From now many foreigners can read the homepage.2) Construction of the searchable database on the homepageWe constructed the homepage of the searchable database of Sanko experimental apparatus collection which had about 550 items. It can be searched by an apparatus name, a purchase year, a delivery supplier, a manufacturer. The apparatus data which is showed by database includes an apparatus photograph, a purchase year and so on.3) The Collecting of the Books and the Catalogues on the Scientific InstrumentsWe collected the books and documents relating the history of the scientific instrument, particularly the physical apparatus for educational use between the Meiji Era to the end of the World War II. We copied many catalogues of Shimadzu Corporation from the end of the war to present. By those catalogues we can pursue a developmental process of physics experimental apparatus for education.
