平成17年4月1日から個人情報保護法が施行されるが,多様なフォーマットで記述された電子文書の増加にともない,これらをきちんと管理することが急務となっている。申請者の所属する研究所や全国の学校等でもこれらのフォーマットで,カルテや出張記録,授業の記録文書が蓄積しつつある。しかし,「どこに保存してある,どの文書に,何が書いてあるのか」がきちんと管理されている例は少ない。また,教育の現場ではコンピュータの専門知識を持たない教員が文書管理の業務に携わることも多く,サーチエンジンやデータベースが効果的に活用されているとはいい難い。本研究ではこういった状況に対して,利用者が特別に索引を用意したりすることなく,比較的容易に電子化文書を管理でき,初心者でも直感的に検索を行えるシステムを提案する。先行研究では,構造化文書を対象として,文書検索についてある程度専門知識を持ったユーザが利用することを前提、にシステム開発を行った。それに対して本研究では,専門知識を持たないユーザが利用することを前提としたシステムの開発をめざした。多種多様なフォーマットで電子化され大量に蓄積している文書に対して,直感的で使いやすいインタフェースで全文検索(文書の本文に,ある文字列が含まれているかどうかを検査する検索)の機能を提供することを目的とする。IEP(個別の指導計画)と,それに関わる日々の記録を電子的に共有,蓄積検索できるシステムの開発を目指して研究を進めている。検索システムの概要・目的は次の通りである。・構造化文書の検索に情報検索(サーチエンジン)技術を導入する。・従来の文書検索の検索単位は文書全体であったが,部分文書単位で検索を行えるようにする。・構造化文書検索において,利用者があらかじめ文書構造を知らなくても検索を行えるようにする。・キーワードの連結による単純な問合せの指定を可能にする。・検索結果のランキングに,文書の内容だけでなく文書構造も反映させる。
