本年度は,第一に,2国1財国際貸借モデルにおいて不決定性が起こる可能性を示す研究を行った.非線形割引(将来効用の割引現在価値が将来効用について非線形であること)を含む効用関数の下では,平均資本ストックが生産性を高めるという形の生産外部性が小さくても,不決定性が起こり得ることを証明した.従来研究代表者等が構築していた2国1財国際貸借モデルでは,不決定性が起こるのは,上のような生産外部性に加え,平均消費が時間選好率を高めるという形の消費外部性が存在し,かつそれらの外部性が十分強いときであった.今回の研究は,より現実的な状況下でも不決定性が起こり得ることを意味している.第二に,物的資本と人的資本が存在し,規模に関して収穫一定が成立している,3部門小国開放内生成長モデルの研究を進めた.この経済には,貿易財である物的資本財と消費財を作る2つの法人部門と,非貿易財である人的資本財を作る1つの教育部門が存在する.このモデルでは,貿易財の特化パターンによって,移行経路が鞍点安定になる場合もあれば,不決定になる場合もあることを示した.今年度は,資本所得税と共に労働所得税もモデルに加え,複数の移行経路間で成長率や効用の比較をし,また貿易財の自給自足価格を2種類の税率について比較静学するなどの改良を行った.この研究をまとめた論文は,Journal of Macroeconomicsに修正・再投稿している.
