项目摘要

今年度は昨年度収集したデータと新しく購入した書籍・資料による研究が中心であった。主に文化大革命時期へ至るまでの政治史を含め、文化大革命中の教育とは何であったのかを幅広く論じ研究することに努めた。さらに当時を代表する共産党指導者の言動と教育政策との関連、当該時期の学校現場において使用された教科書の政治性についても資料収集を進め研究した。その一方で国内の文化大革命中の教育に関する当時の賛否両論について考察し、日本では文化大革命の教育が生活と密着した農業教育を行い、労働者中心の教育を展開したことをいかに評価をしたかが分かった。その上、そのような日本のマスコミなどを中心とした文化大革命中の教育賛美を客観的にまとめるため、中国の当時の新聞を数紙、とくに地方紙を中心に徹底して調べ、どのように革命中の教育が実施されていったのかを理解した。これらの研究は本研究を行ううえでの重要な基礎研究となり、先行研究では充分に明らかにされてこなかった農村部の具体的な資料に基づき、相対的に当時の教育を再考したことは意義あることだと考える。以上の考察を踏まえて、中国で発掘した当時の史料を用いて文化大革命中の小学校教育に関して日本道徳教育学会に論文を投稿中である。また本研究により中華人民共和国成立後農村部の教育形態の進展が明らかとなったことから、これまで研究してきた清末民国時期の農村部における教育普及との関連で今後中国農村がどのように新しい教育への取り組みを行うかが少しずつであるが明らかとなった。今後は本研究を生かして、近代教育史のなかで文化大革命中の教育を相対的に研究することに励みたい。
