项目摘要

従来より纏まった形ではその全体像を把握し難い天台宗系統の訓点資料の研究を行ない、現在は天台真盛宗総本山西教寺の聖教に注目して、天台宗山門派の聖教を個別に調査して来た。その結果として、西教寺正教蔵に存する訓点資料の全ての抽出とその書誌的データと目録化、および、南北朝以前の訓点資料を含めた古写本全ての撮影とデジタルアーカイブ化が完了した。また、その成果を踏まえて、以下の如きことも明らかになった。(1)西教寺聖教の中の正教蔵とされる聖教が比叡山西塔北谷正教坊を由来とする聖教であること。(2)その実態は天台僧舜興によって集書され、舜興は比叡山葛川の総一和尚となるなど、幅広く活躍する人物として多くの聖教を収集できる立場にあったこと。(3)西教寺正教蔵に存する訓点資料の具体的な把握が可能となった。(4)更に、特に注目される個別の訓点資料(具体的には、『無量義経疏』寛平点・『妙法蓮華経』院政期字音点等)に関する国語学上の意義付け。(5)比叡山における聖教調査における里坊を視野に入れた調査の重要性上記の如く、西教寺正教蔵の解明が比叡山西塔北谷正教坊の解明へと繋がり、更には、天台宗山門派系統の聖教解明として発展できることが明かとなり、目録が公開されることによって、他の研究者にも大きく寄与出来るものと思われる。
