项目摘要

1、『天保二年能番組』・『嘉永四年能狂言番組』の位置づけ昨年度に引き続き、仙助能の番組である『天保二年能番組』・『嘉永四年能狂言番組』の分析を行った。明和〜安政期の仙助座の動向を調査し、特に上演記録を中心に収集し、データベースを作成した。新資料の個人蔵『下河原勧進能及び西光寺・六所宮能番組』なども含め、40種近くの関係資料と比較・検討した結果、本資料の狂言の上演は極めて多く、このような上演形態であったことが馬瀬で記録された要因の一つであった可能性を指摘した。またこのデータベースにより、仙助座の役者構成も明らかになり、今様能狂言との関わり(役者・上演曲)も認められた。今後は、馬瀬狂言の芸態における仙助能の影響についても考察する必要があろう。2、馬瀬狂言の主な狂言台本の位置づけ馬瀬狂言資料の中には、十曲以上所収する狂言台本の他に、同一人物が所持した台本や作成の過程が同一と考えられる台本がある(文化二年奥書『狂言六義』・『目近他』・『教言六義』・奥野所持本等)。これらを分類し、それぞれの位置づけを行った。他の狂言台本と比較・検討した結果、和泉流に近い要素は認められるものの、筋立ての簡略化や独自の演出が曲によって認められた。また奥野所持本のように、大蔵流に近い台本や仙助能に関わる台本も所蔵されている。こうした台本の存在が、現在の馬瀬狂言ではどのように受け継がれているのか、その点についても更に追究する必要がある。その一例として、奥野所持本「瓜盗人」・現行「瓜盗人」の分析を試みたところ、和泉流の古典文庫本に近いものの、終曲部は国会図書館蔵『狂言大全集』と一致することから、馬瀬狂言の芸態は、和泉流を主体としながらも、仙助能等も参考にしながら、演出を工夫していた一面が窺える。こうした芸の伝承という側面からの考察も更に行っていきたい。
