1.昨年同様交通行動分析にフラクタル次元を導入するための最適な手法を決定するための交通行動モデル作成手法について調査を行ってきた結果、地方における通勤者と勤務先の位置関係や意思決定過程における相互作用を表現することにフラクタル概念の導入可能性が高いことがわかった。そこで本年度長野県のある地方都市を対象として、事業所ごとの鉄道利用者のフラクタル次元を計測し、その値を説明変数の1つとして用いた地方都市における通勤交通モデルの作成を行った。2.通勤者は同一事業所内の他者の影響をうけやすく、また事業所の規模ではなく個々の事業所ごとに固有の値を求める為にフラクタル次元を導入して、通勤交通行動のモデルを作成し分析を行った。そしてその研究結果を土木学会中部支部研究発表会にて発表した。3.昨年来都市交通網へのフラクタル概念の導入可能性の検討を行うために昨年度同様に全国の様々な都市を対象として、各都市ごとに地図より鉄道網、主要道路網、駅等の交通基盤施設分布網それぞれについて地図を作成し、各市町村においてゾーン(例えば市町村内の地区に分類する)ごとの人口を求め、それぞれの重心点を設定して人口を加重とした人口分布地図も作成することを目標としてきたが、各都市の都市圏域の設定方法について大きな問題点を抱えていることがわかった。
