项目摘要

『説話文学研究』40(2005.7)所収「縁起と流記をめぐる覚書-長谷寺流記の検討を起点として-」では、散佚書「長谷寺流記」の検討を起点とし縁起・流記の概念を再検討するとともに、『長谷寺縁起文』等の出典ともなった「長谷寺流記」が一箇のテクストではなく、言説群の呼称であることを指摘。堤邦彦・徳田和夫編『寺社縁起の文化学』(森話社、2005.11)所収「組織と縁起-平安・鎌倉期の真言密教における縁起言説-」では、空海仮託『遺告二十五箇条』を題材として縁起的言説を分析しつつ、縁起の概念を再検討した。『遺告二十五箇条』については、一昨年度から継続している随心院調査の報告書『随心院聖教と寺院ネットワーク』3にて、「近世の空海遺告注釈書・随心院蔵『御遺告秘釈』について(中)-坤巻翻刻-」として、江戸期にそれまでの『遺告二十五箇条』注釈をめぐる諸説を集成した書を翻刻し全文紹介を終えた。伝承文学研究会・第340回東京例会(2005.12)における口頭発表「天神仮託の縁起-大安寺と長谷寺-」では、『長谷寺縁起文』の菅原道真仮託の問題と大安寺との関わりを考える手掛かりとして、南都が言説形成の磁場となった可能性を指摘。寺社縁起研究会・伝承文学研究会共催シンポジウム「寺社縁起の文化学-新たな縁起研究をめざして-」(2006.3)における口頭発表「室町・江戸期の長谷寺縁起-<本縁起>から絵巻・絵入版本・略縁起へ-」では、<本縁起>たる『長谷寺縁起文』成立以降の長谷寺縁起類の展開相を通観し、問題点を指摘した。このほか、長谷寺・随心院をはじめとして各地の文庫・図書館等で長谷寺・東大寺・真言密教・寺社縁起関係の資料を蒐集・整理し、いまだ公開には至らぬまでも、データベース化の作業を進めている。また、これまでの研究成果を『長谷寺縁起の言説世界』と題し、臨川書店より出版予定であり、現在、原稿執筆中である。
