项目摘要

スウェーデン福祉国家制度の再編を理論的、実証的に考察した。考察に当たり、都市部に対する過疎地域、男性中核労働者に対する女性という二つの軸を設定し、従来のスウェーデン福祉国家制度が持つ排除構造と可能性の両方を明らかにすることを目的に考察を行った。具体的には、昨年度から引き続きスウェーデンのイェムトランド県に滞在し、過疎地域における協同組合型保育園に対するインタビュー調査および参与観察を行った。また公立保育園、自治体担当者、保育以外の社会サービスを提供している協同組合、協同組合型保育園が存在する地域にある協同組合や地域住民にもインタビューを行った。これらインタビューおよび参与観察は、協同組合型保育園設立の試みが開始された当時の社会状況、当事者と支援者の関係性、保育園開設後の村の変化などを明らかにすることを目的に行った。スウェーデン滞在の終盤には、VIII Nordic-Scottish Annual Conferenceにて、スウェーデン滞在中に行った実証調査の報告を行った。2004年6月に日本へ帰国した後は、インタビュー調査の資料整理を行うと同時に、関係する専門領域の文献を用いながら実証調査の補足を行っている。昨年度に実施したアンケート調査の結果および今回の一連のインタビュー調査結果の一部は、2005年3月出版予定の『年報人間科学』(第26号)に収録される予定である。この原稿では、イェムトランド県で最も早く作られた協同組合型保育園の実際の取り組みと、その取り組みが生まれた背景について論じている。
