1.拡張SIMD命令(MMXテクノロジ,SSEと呼ばれるSingle Instruction Multiple Data命令群)を用いたセルオートマトン(CA)向け並列化コンパイラの開発及び評価前年度において開発したCA向け並列化コンパイラ(DORAC)の並列化アルゴリズムの最適化及びその評価を行った.DORACは,if文などの分岐命令を拡張SIMD命令を用いてコード化するためにif変換を呼ばれる処理を行う.本研究では,if変換後のプログラムコード内の冗長な部分を検出し,より最適なコードに変換するアルゴリズムを実装した.本研究の成果は,情報処理学会論文誌,Vol.45,No.10にて発表済みである.2.開発システムを用いた道路交通シミュレーション・モデルの実装及びシミュレーション本研究において開発したCAモデル設計支援システム(DORAシステム)を用いて直線道路における自動車の流れをシミュレートするモデルを実装し,実在する都市の地図データを用いた道路交通シミュレーション・システムの開発を行った.一方,交通シミュレーションを行うにあたって必要な,パーソントリップデータ(人の移動データ)を地理情報を基に推定するシステムの開発を行った.現在,国土交通省,国土地理院及び総務省統計局から電子化された全国の道路地図,人口分布,事業分布などが公開されており,これらのデータを用いてパーソントリップデータの生成及び交通シミュレーションが実現できれば,全国各地の交通需要の推定などに利用することができる.3.マルチエージェント・システム(MAS)向けの拡張DORA言語を拡張し,より多くのMASモデルを記述できるようにした.たとえば,緊急避難シミュレーションにおいて,煙の拡散をCAモデルで記述し,人々の振る舞いをMASとして記述するといったことが可能である.
