最終年度である本年度は、本申請研究全体の成果として、革命期ロシアに成立した体制の特質を、「労働を通じたネイション・ビルディング」という観点から解明することに成功した。具体的には、革命期に展開された一連の集団労働を、「ソヴィエト共和国」という政治共同体の構成員を創出する行為として捉えた。そのような行為は、ネイション・ビルディングの側面をもつと同時に、「国家が所有する労働力」という人間観にも支えられていた。結果として、ソ連期ロシアにおけるネイション・ビルディングは、国家への依存度が非常に高い「公民」を生み出すこととなったのである。本申請研究の成果として得られた以上の認識は、ソ連期ロシア史が世界史の中でもつ普遍性と特殊性の両方を、「労働を通じたネイション・ビルディング」という独自の観点から明らかにするものである。またこの認識は、現代ロシアの状況を考える上でも、大きな意義をもつと考えられる。上述の成果は、本年度においては、次頁記入の論文4本、および学会報告2本、1)「革命期ロシアにおける労働、コミューン、ネイション」、ロシア史研究会年次大会(成蹊大学)、2005年10月23日、2)「農村統治とロシア都市:県・市合同、1918-1921」(露語)、国際研究会議「20世紀ロシア農民史研究」(東京大学経済学部)、2005年11月13日、により部分的に公表された。さらに昨年度(2005年3月)提出の博士論文「革命期ロシアにおける国家運営と民衆統合--モスクワ市から見る」の審査を東京大学大学院人文社会系研究科(西洋史)にて行ない、合格した。これにより2005年10月、博士号(文学),を授与された。この博士論文は本申請研究の成果を総合したものであり、現在出版を目指して加筆修正を行なっている。
