项目摘要

1.本研究では、関東圏の建設業労働者の就労構造の変容について、とくに飯場などの職住一体化した職場の実態に焦点をあてて明らかにすることを目的としている。本年度は研究の最終年度にあたり、建設業事業主への聞き取り調査の追加調査とその整理・分析、これまで収集した建設業・日雇労働・野宿者に関する資料・データの分析、およびこれらの成果を生かした博土論文の執筆を中心に行った。2.建設業の各種統計データの分析から、中小の建設業事業所が増加していること、また政策関連の資料の分析から、厚生労働省および国土交通省を中心として建設業の「近代化」が強力に目指されてきたことなどが明らかになった。3.昨年に引き続き、建設業事業主の聞き取り調査に関して、追加調査を行った。調査からは、90年代以降、建設業は劇的に変化し、事業所ではミニマムな雇用につとめていること、また、建設業の雇用の「近代化」(管理化)がいっそう進行し、それが日雇労働者の雇用に少なくない影響を与えていること、それによって「現金」(日々払い)の就労形態の労働者は働きにくくなっていることなどが、より詳細に明らかになった。この成果を中心に、第78回日本社会学会大会(於法政大学)において、「野宿者をめぐる排除と抵抗(3)--東京圏における下層労働市場の再編」として、報告を行った。順次これらは学術論文として発表予定である。4.本研究課題の成果を中心にすえて、学位論文を作成し、2006年に学位を取得した。

1. This study focuses on the structural changes of the construction industry in Kanto and the integration of employment and housing in the workplace.
