観察された幼児の行動特徴と平成15年度に作成した6尺度(否定的感情反応尺度・神経質尺度・順応性尺度・外向性尺度・規則性尺度・注意の転導性尺度)47項目の幼児気質質問紙(武井他,2004)との関連を検討することを目的とした.1.6健診で参加募集した26組の母子について,親子教室「こあらの会」(1回2時間程度 自由遊びと設定遊びとおやつ時間で構成,平成16年4月27日〜10月5日まで月2回,計10回(#1〜#10))を実施し,対象幼児の行動をビデオに録画した.対象幼児の発達検査の結果は平均DQ=98.11(SD=9.41)であり,発達面での遅れはみられなかった.#1,#3,#5のおやつ終了後5分間の自由遊び場面における1つの遊びの持続時間,玩具で遊んだ回数,位置移動,母親あるいは母親以外の他者への能動的接近行動と気質尺度との関係(武井他,2004;水子他,2004),初期(#1・#2),中期(#5・#6),後期(#9・#10)の来室後5分間の自由遊び場面における玩具などの物への関わり,位置移動,母親への能動的接近行動,母親以外の他者への能動的接近行動と気質尺度との関係(武井他,2005)について検討した.結果,食事や睡眠などのリズムが規則的であるほど一定時間内に玩具で遊ぶ回数は多くなること,几帳面で敏感,聞き分けがよいといった神経質傾向が強いほど,一定時間内に玩具で遊ぶ回数は少ないこと,新しい場面や人に慣れにくい,順応性が低いほど母親に対して能動的接近行動がみられること,思い通りにならないと激しく感情をあらわしたり,大泣きするような気質傾向を示すと,他者にはあまり関わらないこと,注意の切り替えが早いほど,他者に能動的接近行動がみられると考えられた.10回通じて行動特徴が安定していた事例について検討すると,よく移動するタイプの幼児は注意の切り替えは早いが,変化に慣れにくく,あまり外交的でないということが明らかになった.
