本研究は,学校教育における芸術にかかわる教科等のカリキュラム開発に関する基本的な考え方の構築を目指すものである。研究の最終年度である本年度は,これまでの考察を整理するとともに芸術にかかわる教科等のカリキュラム開発に関する基本的な考え方の構築し,研究成果報告書としてまとめた。報告書は4章で構成した。第1章では,将来に役立てるために学ぶという視点ではなく,「いま」を生きるために学ぶという視点から芸術教育の意義について考察した。その結果,芸術教育は,そのつどの「いま」において,新たな意味と自己を生成し,「これから」への可能性を開いていく実践的な試みであることに意義があるということができた。第2章では,芸術的な実践としての表現と享受のメカニズム,すなわち,意味生成のメカニズムについて考察した。さらに第3章では,その実践にいかに他者がかかわるのかを考察した。その結果,芸術的な実践をする者の相互のかかわり合いにおいて,主体としての自己と主体としての他者が出会い,匿名的ともいえるその意識の深みから意味を生成する論理の構築をすることができた。第4章では,芸術と教育の関係について整理するとともに,芸術教育におけるカリキュラム開発を「計画plan→実践do→評価see」の過程としてとらえ,それぞれについて考察することによってカリキュラム開発の視点の構築を試みた。芸術的な実践における「教え-学ぶ」関係は,そのつど意味をつくりだしていく生産的な過程といえ,したがって,カリキュラム開発もまた型にはめるようにして実施することのできない生産的な過程であることが明らかにされた。また,この報告書の他に芸術にかかわる教科の学習指導要領の目標や内容に関するデータベースを作成した。
