项目摘要

本年度の研究実績の概要は以下の通りです。異なる言語間の対話がどのように受容しその意味を認知するかのメカニズムと、対話音が感情反応として受容するかのメカニズムを日本人、アメリカ人、シンハラ人などの人々による異なる言語の感性反応を調べ明らかにした。その特徴の概要を示す。感性空間を構築するのには、音を知覚するために異なる言語グループの間のそれぞれの異なる感性反応を見つけことにある。英語聴取者の最も共通の感性反応は、シャープ性(鮮明性)とブライド性(輝度性)の尺度を用いて評価することで可能となる。日本聴取者の最も共通の感性反応は、シャープ性とスムーズ性(親和性)の尺度を用いて評価することで可能となる。シンハラ聴取者の最も共通の感性反応は、シャープ性とクリア性(明快性)の尺度を用いて評価することで可能となる。これらの尺度によって心理または感性空間の構築を行った。これら特性指標で創る感性空間を構成する尺度次元内に、対話が発する音の認知と知覚から得られた尺度量によってベクトルとして配置させる。その結果において互いのベクトル距離が少ないところに位置する言語同士は、類似性があることを量的に評価することが可能となった。また、このことにより現在の感性空間の状態を知り、知覚的、感性的、心理的影響の制約下で、参照するパターンとして与えられる空間に移すように音の刺激の知覚的表現をマッチさせることで、聞き手との関係を良好にすることも可能となる。
