项目摘要

エラーに対する感情反応が行動修正に及ぼす影響について,前年度までは行動修正・学習に関わる脳内神経活動の指標とされるエラー関連電位(ERN)を用いた検討を行ってきた.今年度は,アメリカ・ピッツバーグ大学医学部のDr.Greg Siegle博士の下に滞在し,脳機能イメージング(fMRI)を用いた研究を行った.エラー関連電位の発生部位とされている前部帯状回(ACC)は,認知的な行動のモニタリングを司るとされる尾部(caudal ACC)と,感情的なモニタリング機能を司る吻側部(rostral ACC)に分けられる.課題中のこのような脳部位の活性が,パフォーマンスや行動修正にどのように影響するかについて,スタンフォード大学Dr.James Grossの協力を得ることにより,教示による感情制御(エラー後のネガティブな感情反応を低減させる条件,増幅させる条件,及びコントロール条件の3条件を設定)を用いた実験を行った.その結果,caudalACCと同様な活性パターンが観測されてきた補足運動野(SMA)の賦活は当該試行(直前試行)の正誤と感情制御条件に関連し,rostralACCの賦活は次試行の正誤と感情制御条件に関係していること(P<.0025)が示された.ピッツバーグ大学Dr.Wesley Thompsonの協力を得て、行動及び脳賦活データよりstructual equation modelを作成した結果,エラー後のネガティブな感情を低減する条件においてSMAとrostralACC間の相互的な影響が示された.同研究結果は,HumanBrainMapping2007学会の抄録審査にて口頭発表に選ばれており,6月の学会にて発表される予定である.現在は,同プロトコルを用いて,脳波,瞳孔径,心拍,呼吸データ等の自律系指標の測定を始めている.
