项目摘要

地方都市中心都市である松本市の郊外地域に造成された寿台住宅団地をとりあげ,夫婦の通勤行動圏を分析した。その結果,地方都市においても,地方年の郊外住宅地域においても,大都市郊外と同様に夫婦の通勤距離の差は大きく,主婦労働力が郊外の雇用の場で重要な役割を果たしていることがわかった。その一方で,夫の通勤先や定年後の再就職先として,産業振興地域が浮上してきていることも明らかとなった。このことは,地方都市である松本に置いても,産業振興地域の形成に伴って,雇用の郊外化が進行していることの表れであるといえる。本研究の内容は,斎藤功編『中央日本における盆地の地域性-松本盆地の文化層序-』に執筆した。また,東京大都市圏の郊外住民の通勤行動と求職行動について分析し,大都市郊外が上京人口(いわゆる郊外第一世代)の受け皿であるだけでなく,彼らの子供であり,大都市郊外を地元とする郊外第二世代の通勤者を生み出していることを指摘した。郊外第二世代については,現段階では高学歴者,ホワイトカラーは中心市に集中し,通勤距離に関わる制約から通勤行動に性差や職種・ライフコース(学歴など)による差も存在し,特に未婚男性でその差が大きいことを明らかにした。そして,今後,雇用の郊外化により郊外での雇用機会が増大し,郊外核へのホワイトカラー系職種の集積が進むと大都市圏では,郊外第二世代による郊外地域での就業が男女ともに増加し,通勤行動の性差が縮小する可能性を指摘した。本研究については,2005年10月に地理科学学会秋季学術大会シンポジウムにて報告した。

In the second generation of rural training, there is a difference in the current level of high school students, such as high school students, and high school students. In the future, employment opportunities in group training will increase, the concentration of job categories in group training will advance, and in metropolitan areas, employment in group training areas will increase between men and women in the second generation, and the possibility of narrowing the gender gap in commuting will be criticized. This study was presented at the Autumn Academic Conference of the Geographical Sciences Society in October 2005.
