対象とした時代のドイツ語コーパスから得られた合計4689件の用例(主文の枠構造の用例2048件、主文および副文の多項述語の用例2641件)に基づき、I)テクスト種という社会言語学的要因と、II)枠構造の完全性ないし規模、ならびに多項述語の語順、という2変数間の相関関係をカイ2乗検定によって検証したところ、次のような結果が得られた:1)主文における枠構造の完全性とテクスト種との間には、いずれの文筆家の場合も有意な関係が認められなかった。すなわち、テクスト執筆時の公刊意図の有無は、主文における枠構造使用に影響を及ぼしていなかったと考えられる。2)主文における枠構造の規模とテクスト種との間には、有意な関係が認められる文筆家もあれば、有意な関係が認められない文筆家もある。前者の場合、公的なテクストにおいて枠構造の規模がより大きくなっている。3)主文における多項述語の語順の場合、テクスト種と不定形動詞間の順序との間に有意な関係が認められる文筆家が優勢であった。この場合、公的なテクストでより古い時代の語順が用いられており、公的テクストにおける語順の保守性が確認された。4)副文における多項述語の語順については、テクスト種と定動詞の位置との間の相関関係を調査したが、対象とした文筆家全員に共通するような一定の傾向は認められなかった。一名についてのみ公的テクストでの語順の保守性、ならびに私的テクストにおける逸脱的語順の使用が確認された。
