(1)韓国の大学博物館、国立博物館、文化財研究所、その他調査研究機関等で刊行されている三国時代前期の古墳に関する発掘調査報告書をもとに、新羅・加耶・百済古墳のデータを収集した。データ収集は3世紀後葉から4世紀までの木榔槨墓、竪穴式石槨墓について行い、新羅・加耶古墳は全体の約90%、百済古墳は全体の80%が終了した。(2)収集した墳墓資料については、すべてデータベース化している。データベースの項目としては、所在地、調査年、墳丘(形状、規模)、埋葬主体部(型式、規模、主軸方向、頭位、構造)、築造年代、副葬品配置、副葬品種類(装身具、鏡、武器・武具、車馬具、農工具、金属容器、土器など)・形態、参考文献等を抽出し、データベース・ソフト(Microsoft Access2002を使用)への入力を行った。また、図面・写真等に関しては、墳墓ごとにカード化して、整理を行った。(3)データベース化した資料を地域ごとに検討し、副葬土器などに基づいて三国時代前期古墳の編年作業を行った。その結果、それぞれ、3世紀後葉、4世紀前葉、4世紀中葉、4世紀後葉〜5世紀初頭の四時期に編年でき、古墳の変遷過程を明らかにすることができた。さらに鉄製武器などから、地域間の時期的な併行関係を検討した。その結果、地域ごとに若干の違いはあるが、4世紀後葉に大きな画期があることを指摘できる。(3)階層分化の進行状況については、時期が下るごとに階層分化が進行するが、とくに新羅や加耶地域では4世紀後葉に急速に進行する現象が認められた。(4)本研究で作成したデータベースについては、今後も増加する資料を追加していき、Web上での公開を考えている。

The relationship between iron weapons and geographical periods is discussed. The result is that there are several violations in the fourth century.
