项目摘要

本年度は、昨年度までの実証研究に基づき、子どもを持つことの費用の計測について考察を行った。昨年度までの実証研究では、子どもを持つ直接的な費用、つまり子どもにかかる支出額をこどもの費用として、Equivalence Scaleを用いてデータから算出していた。しかし、子どもの費用としては、実際に子どもにかかる支出額よりも、妻が子育てによって就業をあきらめるときの機会費用のほうがはるかに大きいと考えられる。また、数々のサーベイにおいても、女性の、育児による高額な機会費用が、子どもを持つことをためらわせているということが明らかになっている。従って、今年度の研究においては、女性の、子育てに対する機会費用を計測し、その出生率に対する影響を分析しようと計画した。そのため、既存研究をサーベイし、「消費生活に関するパネルデータ」などを用いた計測を行っている。
