项目摘要

平成19年度上半期には、昨年度までに収集した史料の読解を進める一方、日本国内の各史料館を訪問し、史料の収集に努めた。東洋文庫では、モリソン文庫に収録されている阿片関係文書、および昨年度までに閲覧することのできなかった文献等を調査・収集した。他方、19世紀から20世紀への転換期における香港の阿片関係の資料が、台湾総督府関係の史料にも収録されていることを知り、後藤新平文書から必要な史料の収集に努める一方、台湾総督府文書の閲覧のために、国内において目録の確認等、必要な下調べを行った。さらに、台湾への阿片供給に関連して、イギリスの日本関係外交文書を、東京大学総合図書館、および横浜開港資料館で閲覧・収集した。このような国内における調査を経て、8月から9月にかけてほぼ1ケ月間、台湾、香港、そして澳門へと渡航し、各地にて資料の収集を行った。台湾では、台北にて台湾大学をはじめ、複数の図書館を利用、さらに南投市では国史館台湾文献館を訪問し、台湾総督府関係文書の調査・収集をおこなった。さらに香港では香港大学図書館と香港歴史档案館を訪問、澳門では澳門歴史档案館にて、資料を収集した。下半期には、これらの史料の読解を進める傍ら、イギリズにおける再調査の準備を進め、2008年1月から3月にかけて調査を実施した。まずロンドンでは、国立公文書館をはじめ、アジア・アフリカ研究院の文書館を訪問し、中国関係の外交文書、およびChina Association関係文書等を閲覧・収集した。さらにオックスフォードでは、ローズハウス図書館において、香港総督経験者、および香港勤務経験のある植民地官僚の個人文書を、閲覧・収集した。これらの成果を公表するため、香港・澳門関係資料に関する紹介を執筆したほか、滋賀大学経済学部ワークショップにて、香港における20世紀初頭の阿片商社に関する研究を発表、貴重なコメントを得た。

In addition to the above, the company also provides services to local officials in Hong Kong. The results of this study were published in the form of a brief introduction to the relationship between Hong Kong and Macao. The research on the relationship between Hong Kong and Macao in the early 20th century was published in the Department of Economics of Shiga University.
