项目摘要

与えられた大量の入出力データに内在する写像関係を推定する手法として,入力空間を複数の定義域に分割し,各定義域内の入力に対応する出力値の推定値を,各定義域とそれに対応する値域に含まれる入出力データに対して線形写像を当てはめることによって,入出力データ間の非線形写像関係を複数の線形写像で表現する方法(線形回帰木と呼ぶ)がある.これまでの方法では,出力データはスカラー値しか扱えない,汎化性能を追求するあまり複雑な手続き,パラメータ調整が必要となっていた.そこで,本研究では,出力変数はスカラー量のみを扱うだけでなくベクトル量も扱えるように改良し,さらに,推定される線形写像の汎化性を向上させるため,画像の領域分割処理として有名なSplit-and-Mergeアルゴリズムに基づいた処理も行い,許容される推定誤差に関するパラメータを与えるのみで写像が推定できるようにしたソフトウェアを開発した.本研究では,データ空間の分割様式が2分木により表現されているので,新たな入力が与えられた場合に,与えられた入力がどの部分空間に属するのかを高速に求めることが可能になっている.また,各部分領域内のデータに対して求められた回帰係数,平均値は,2分木の終端ノードに格納されているので,新たな入力に対して2分木を探索することで,高速に推定出力を計算することができる.このように2分木構造のtreeが構築されるので、本アルゴリズムをPaLM-treeと呼び,また,構築される木構造のこともPaLM-treeと呼んでいる.研究成果としては,従来からの線形回帰木に関する研究のサーベイ,PaLM-treeの基本アルゴリズムの提案,PaLM-treeを用いた能動カメラシステム制御の高性能化,PaLM-treeのパターン認識問題への応用等の成果が得られている.PaLM-treeの基本アルゴリズムに関しては特許を出願している.また,このテーマでの研究は引き続き行っており,PaLM-treeのさらなる汎か性能向上を目指して,部分領域における関数近似を多変数多項式で行い適切な多項式の次数と分割位置をMDL基準を用いて決定する手法や,ラジコンカーの走行データを事例として蓄積しPaLM-treeにより状態遷移モデルを推定して,このモデルを基にラジコンカーを制御して意図的にスピンターンやドリフト走行を行うことを目指した研究を行い,従来手法に比べて良好な結果が得られることを確認した.

The method of estimating the relationship between the input force and the output force is to divide the input force space into a plurality of domains, and to estimate the output value of the input force in each domain. A method of representing a plurality of linear images between input forces and non-linear images (linear images). The method is to reduce the output, reduce the output, and improve the generalization performance. In this study, the number of output changes from the first to the second is improved, and it is estimated that the generalization of linear image is improved. The domain segmentation processing of image is called Split-and-Merge processing. The estimated error is related to the estimated error. In this study, the partition formula of the space is divided into two parts, and the new force is applied to the case where the force is applied to the space. In each part of the field, the return coefficient is calculated, the average value is calculated, and the new input force is calculated. The tree structure of the two branches of the tree is constructed by PaLM-tree and called by PaLM-tree. The results of this research include the following: the basic theory of PaLM-tree, the proposal of PaLM-tree, the high performance of PaLM-tree dynamic control, the application of PaLM-tree to the recognition problem, etc. The research of this kind of tree is based on the following aspects: (1) the relation number approximation of some domains;(2) the polynomial of many variables;(3) the degree division position of the polynomial;(4) the MDL benchmark;(5) the method of determining the state transition of the tree;(6) the case of accumulation; and (7) the state transition estimation of the tree. The results of this study were confirmed.
