平成18年度は本研究計画の最終年度に該当しており、研究課題に関する書誌調査・文献収集・資料解釈などの作業に継続的に従事しつつ、新声社出版物の書誌データベースを作成した。ここでは書誌データを、書名・著者名・判型・製本・構成・目次細目・奥付データ・出版広告情報等の項目に、簡易に分類し、書誌情報を一覧する環境を整えた。最終年度においても、残存未確認出版物が若干残ったが、研究計画終了後においても継続的に情報を充実させていきたい。そして、佐藤儀助が森山吐虹に新声社を売却し、さらに森山吐虹が新声社の出版活動を停止させた後、旧新声社出版物紙型によって他の出版業者から出版された異本についても、判明した情報をまとめた。これらの出版業者は、文学同志会・人文社・上田屋書店・精華堂書店・渡辺書店・文禄堂書店ほかで、実に多岐に亘っている。また、『創作苦心談』『花吹雪』を昭和一〇年代に朝日書房が刊行した事例があり、新声社異本の問題は、さらなる未発見の書物について継続的に探索することが不可欠である。上記のような研究活動のために、国内旅費、謝金、物品費(コンピュータ関係消耗品、雑誌購入費、複写費など)、その他(図書相互貸借送料など)を支出した。なお、平成18年度中の成果公表ではないが、平成19年度刊行予定の国文学研究資料館編・リプリント日本近代文学において、新声社出版物である、小島烏水『扇頭小景』・正岡芸陽『嗚呼売淫国』・田山花袋『ふる郷』の解題を担当し、それを公表する予定があることも申し添えておきたい。
