平成17年度は、平成16年度に予定していた日本語の音声語彙認識における心内辞書の語彙間の隣接効果についての2つの実験と英語の音声語彙認識における心内辞書の語彙間の隣接効果についての6つの実験を行った。実験は日本と米国において実施した。平成16年度から引き続き行われている2つの無意味語を用いた実験を行い、日本語における語彙間の隣接効果を再検証した。Naming taskとLexical decision taskの異なる実験方法を用いた今回の実験結果は、英語での実験結果と同様に、語彙間の隣接効果が明らかになった。成果はThe 9^<th> Western Pacific Acoustics Conferenceにおいて報告される。平成17年度に行う研究課題は比較対照研究の形式をとり、2つ同一の実験を日本語母国語話者と英語母国語話者を対象とした実験を行った。実験4と実験5は日本人母国語話者を実験参加者とした。実験4では、英語音声語彙認識における隣接効果についての実験を行った。英語母国語話者によって録音された日本人大学生が知っている隣接語数が考慮された英単語を刺激語として日本語母国語話者にノイズの中で提示した。実験参加者はその単語を解答用紙に書き、その正答率によって心内辞書の語彙間の隣接効果について判断した。実験5は、実験4で用いた刺激語を日本人母国語話者によって録音し、実験4の実験方法を用いた実験を行った。結果は、どちらの実験においても予想していた語彙間の隣接効果は2つの実験においても認められなかった。これは、日本語の母国語話者が語彙の隣接効果による影響を受けていたのではなく、音響的な情報により敏感であったことを示すものと考えられる。この成果はthe Third International Conference on SPEECH PROSODY 2006において報告される。実験6と実験7は英語母国語話者を対象とし、実験4と実験5と同一の実験を行った。現在はデータの分析中であり、今後成果を論文として公表していきたいと考えている。
