前年度より取り組んできた、音節末における鼻音性のありかたについて、フランス語およびポルトガル語における音節構造を分析することにより考察した。フランス語の男女形の多くは、綴り字に表れる語末阻害音が音形として出現するかしないかの交替形をもつ。同じ環境に鼻音が存在するときは男性形の場合は先行母音を鼻母音にするという手法で鼻音性を残す。この点において他の阻害音とは異なる性質を有することになる。母音で始まる語が後続した場合のいわゆるリエゾン/アンシェヌマン発生に関しても、阻害音・鼻音では異なる分布を示す。この点に関して、統率音韻論、最適性理論の2つの異なるメカニズムを用いて分析し、この現象の説明の妥当性について両理論を比較した。また、フランス語の上記現象、特に鼻母音の発生環境について、ポルトガル語の同種の環境を対照させた。ポルトガル語では、ある種の男女交替形において、男性形でフランス語には存在しない二重鼻母音が発生する。一方、ポルトガル語には音節境界でリエゾン・アンシュヌマンのような現象は起こらない。これら両言語における鼻音性の固有のふるまいについて最適性理論の枠組みで対照し、分析した。上記内容は、日本音韻論学会第12回研究発表会(於青山学院大学、2005年6月10日)において口頭発表を行い、裏面の通り、2編の論文として発表予定である。

In the previous year, the syllable structure of the syllable was analyzed. The male and female forms of the Chinese language are often reversed, and the Chinese characters are expressed in terms of the end of the language, the sound form, and the alternate form. In the same environment, nasal sounds exist. In the case of male shapes, nasal sounds exist. The point is different from the other. The distribution of vowels and nasal sounds is shown in the following cases: The relationship between the two theories, the theory of command phonemes, the theory of optimality, the analysis of the two theories, the explanation of the two phenomena, and the comparison of the two theories For example, the above phenomenon of Chinese language, the environment in which nasal vowels are produced, and the environment in which the same language is produced. There are two nasal vowels in the male and female alternate forms of A party, a group, a group. This is the first time that we've had a conversation about nasal sounds, and we've had a conversation about optimal theory.
