複数の地域の基幹型在宅介護支援センターにて、地域ケア会議の参与観察と議事録の収集、及び議事内容の録音データ、地域ケア会議構成メンバーへ聞き取りデータの収集・分析を行った。その結果、地域ケア会議の機能として、(1)研修機能、(2)行政のアカウンタビリティ確保、(3)名刺交換会的機能、(4)サービス事業者の情報交換機能、(5)ケース検討・サービス調整機能、(6)実践上の葛藤などの分かち合い機能、(7)サービス給付決定機能などが抽出できた。これらの機能は、全てのケア会議に共通するものではない。機能(7)に終始し本来の意味での地域ケアを支え、方針を定める会議とはなっていないものもあった。また司会者の進め方、構成メンバーの会議の捉え方、資料の提示の仕方などによっても、会議の性格が異なる事が示唆された。このような地域ケア会議を、専門職同士が連携する具体的な場面ととらえ、わが国のソーシャルワーク教育においてその専門職連携教育がどのように位置づけられ、課題は何かについてまとめ、英国の専門職連携推進センター(CAIPE)の情報誌に投稿した。また、わが国の専門職養成の基礎教育においてもその教育が求められることから、埼玉県立大学の教員として平成17年度現代的教育ニーズ取組支援プログラムに申請し、採択を受けた(「保健医療福祉の連携と統合の教育」)。その内容について、医学教育学会誌に投稿した。今後は、複数の職種や機関の専門職による会議運営の方法論をさらに精緻化して、スキルを明確にすると共に、その中でのソーシャルワーカー役割と、社会福祉行政の在り方について検討を深めたい。

In the future, the methodology for the operation of conferences and meetings in a number of professional organizations will be refined, and the organization will be clearly defined.
