昨年度、幼稚園経験の長さが幼児の社会的発達に影響を及ぼすことが示唆されたことを受けて、今年度は保育者が幼児の他者理解の発達にどの程度影響を与えるのかを明らかにするために、幼児自身の保育者・母親への愛着・認知と他者理解能力との関連について比較検討することとした。調査対象は、幼稚園年中・年長の男児25名、女児31名である。まず、幼児愛着検査(大日向,1988)を用いて、園場面・家庭場面で子どもが愛着の対象としてどれくらい「保育者」「母親」を挙げるかを測定した。また、CCT(森下,1985)、CCP(後浜,1987)を用いて、子どもが保育者・母親をどれくらい「受容的」「拒否的」と認知しているかをそれぞれ測定した。さらに、子どもの他者理解能力を調べるために、感情理解(竹田,2004)、欲求理解(Barsch & Wellman,1989)、誤信念理解(Bartsch & Wellman,1989)の3つの他者理解能力を測定した。その結果、まず感情理解については、子どもの保育者・母親への愛着や認知と有意な関連は見られなかった。欲求理解については、女児において「家庭」での愛着の対象として「保育者」を多く挙げることと欲求理解の「通常課題得点」との間に有意な負の相関があった(r=-.40,p<.05)、また、重回帰分析の結果(R^2=.35,F=12.50,p<.01)、男児において「園」での愛着の対象として「母親」を多く挙げることが欲求理解の「変則的課題得点」の低さを有意に説明することが示された(β=-.59,p<.01)。また、誤信念理解については、重回帰分析の結果(R^2=.40,F=7.47,p<.01)、男児において「園」での愛着の対象として「保育者」を多く挙げることと(β=.49,p<.01)、「保育者」への「受容的な認知」の少なさが(β=-.43,P<.05)、それぞれ「予測課題得点」の高さを有意に説明した。女児においては、重回帰分析の結果、「母親」への「受容的な認知」の少なさ(β=-.35,p<.05)が「予測課題得点」の高さを(R^2=.33,F=6.66,P<.01)、「保育者」への「拒否的な認知」の少なさ(β=-.51,P<.01)が「説明課題得点」の高さを(R^2=.26,F=9.67,P<.01)、それぞれ有意に説明した。以上の結果から、幼児期の他者理解能力について、幼児の保育者へのとらえ方は、母親へのとらえ方とは異なる影響を及ぼす可能性が示唆され、保育者独自の役割について今後も詳細に検討していく必要があると考えられる。
