環状の磁場閉じ込め装置の周辺プラズマの揺動の空間構造を検出する新しいタイプの計測器の開発した。多層膜反射鏡を使った軟X 線領域の反射望遠鏡タイプの計測器を構築し、揺動計測に十分なフレーミングレートでの計測に成功している。大型ヘリカル装置での初期計測では、周辺MHD 揺動に対応する磁力線に平行なモード構造の検出に成功しており、今後、解析プログラムの整備を行って詳細なモードの空間構造とその発展についての研究を行う。
