Empirical research into the change of international student's life and the trend of the international student acceptance policy in Japan since 1984(2007)

This research is the comparison study based on empirical data for the international student acceptance policy of Japan and for the change in life of international student since 1984.When the result of the current data analysis was judged overall, the international student acceptance policy was supported at first in by the people the government. As a result, the life of the international student in Japan has improved financial life and system. However, examining the data analysis, problems in international student ; the scholarship, the residence, and communication with Japanese people, and be growing the problem.This finding is the result of this research. Concretely, the first the international student's increase caused a qualitative decline. As a result, the image of a social negative to the international student like the illegal residence and crimes by foreigners, etc. has increased. Social motivation for a support for the international student was lost for that. Secondarily, the numerical expansion-decreased the support chance to an individual international students (scholarship and condominium, etc.). Thirdly, the numerical expansion brought bias to international student's homeland, and simplified the international student image (Chinese students). Fourthly, a united current for the international student acceptance was not made due to a policy disagreement among the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and the Ministry of Justice. Therefore, the international student's life changes largely in Japan, because of the increasing international student and the disagreement of the policy. It is difficult to say the international student's life has improved as a whole greatly.
