2次元非コンパクトな piecewise Riemannian polyhedron 上に全曲率を定義し、その定義の下でのCohn-Vossen 型の定理(全曲率の上からの評価)について研究を行った。実際には、強い意味と弱い意味での2種類の定義を与え、上記の定理は強い意味の曲率のもとで成立し、弱い意味の曲率のもとでは成立しないことを示した。更に、定曲率多面体の分類を研究するための手始めとして、平坦性を定義し、平坦な多面体を分類した。
