项目摘要

建築・土木・ランドスケープを統合的にデザインする環境デザイン分野におけるリアルタイムシミュレーション(RS)システムの開発と評価に関する研究である。今年度は下記に示す2項目について主に取り組んだ。1)昨年度までに開発した機能を高松4町パティオプロジェクトに適用した。本設計は、中心市街地活性化に向けて道路空間を有効活用する広場設計であり、地域環境力を醸成させる狙いもある。住民、土地建物所有者、テナントらで構成される4町パティオ協議会が事業主体として広場の将来像を検討した上で、その協議会案をもって市役所、警察、その他関係者と協議した。それら継続的なコミュニケーションの過程において、開発したRS機能、及びRSコンテンツは有用な役割を果たしてきた。尚、RSをコミュニケーションツールとして検討されてきた広場設計案は、その後実施設計、施工過程を経て、2007年8月に竣工している。竣工の様子は、NHK、読売新聞等多数のメディアで報道されている上、一部のメディアではRS(VR)手法を用いた設計手法にまで言及されている。2)車社会から脱却した環境都市実現に向け、全国各地でLRT(Light Rail Transit)導入が検討されている。LRT導入の際には、LRTの軌道や車両の検討に加え、地域住民とLRTを活かしたまちづくりについて協働しながら検討する必要がある。これらを検討するために必要なRS機能を整理した上で、その機能を包含するRSソフトウェアを導入しソフトウェアの評価とS市を対象としたコンテンツを設計した。上記並びに平成18年度の成果を取りまとめ、海外の建築・図学系学会にて論文発表した。研究課題は今年度で終了するが、成果は次年度以降も引き続き論文発表する予定である。
