项目摘要

18年度までに得られた家族の介護状況と生活時間配分の実態をふまえ、要介護高齢者と家族の関わをとらえるための対象として孫世代(高校生および大学生)に焦点をあて、質問紙調査を計画、実施した。分析の結果、得られた知見は次のとおりである。なお、成果の一部を家庭科教育学会第50回大会で発表した。1.調査分析の結果、自分の祖父母に対する直接的なケアの経験は、祖父母が要介護の状態であっても大学生、高校生いずれも少ない。また、家事労働にもほとんど時聞を費やしていない。2.高齢者「孫-祖父母関係評価尺度」田畑他(1996)より、「存在受容機能」、「日常的、情緒的援助機能リョ、「時間的展望促進機能」、「世代継承性促進機能」の妥当性が見いだされた。祖父母が現在要介護の状態にあるか否かでは、高校生では要介護でない祖父母のほうが要介護である祖父母に比べ、高い機能認識である傾向がみられた。けれども大学生ではその傾向は明確ではない。3.孫が祖父母の機能をより認識しているほど、祖父母の介護への関わり意欲が強い傾向にあった。そして祖父母が要介護者である場合、祖父母の機能の認識が高いほど実際の介護への関わり状況も積極的てある傾向があった。4.同居の有無では、祖父母の機能、祖父母の介護への関わり意欲、介護の実態ともに関連はみられなかった。同居の有無を問わず、父方よりも母方の祖父母に対して、4つのすべての機能において孫世代の認識が高い傾向にあった。
