项目摘要

コンテンツの二次的な制作・流通・消費の繰り返しにより生じるコンテンツの循環に着目し,そこでの無矛盾な権利継承処理の自動化手法を検討した。まず.二次コンテンツの権利継承において,元の権利を尊重し遵守するとともに,元の権利と新たに発生する権利の無矛盾を保証する権利継承処理手法を提案した.これは,予め各権利者が定めた権利継承の条件に従って,複数権利者が合意できる内容を自動抽出することを基本処理としている.また,権利者間の意図の相違あるいは権利の循環による矛盾が生じる場合には,それを検出し,各権利者が指定した条件に沿った処理を行うという特徴を持つ.これらの処理を自動化するには,二次的なコンテンツの利用を考慮した権利許諾内容と,権利矛盾に対する権利者の意図を,システムに矛盾無く伝達する手法が必要である.そこで,これらの記述表現手法として「権利継承記述言語」を設計し,国際標準規格ISO/IEC21000-5などで規定された語彙や記述表現を取り入れることによって,他の権利記述言語との相互運用性の確保を検討した.また,提案手法の評価は,プロトタイプを実装し,権利継承記述言語で記述した権利継承条件に基づく権利継承処理を実行して,その有効性を確かめた.この結果,複数権利者の意図に矛盾のない権利継承処理が行えることを確認した.また,コンテンツの部分的な利用や再結合などにより生じる権利の循環と矛盾の有無を判定し,各権利者の意図に沿った権利継承処理を自動的に行えることを確認した.本研究課題を通して,コンテンツ循環における権利管理には、利用時の許諾処理と利用実績の詳細な記録が必要であり,権利継承処理は、これらとの連携が不可欠であることが明らかになったが,これについては今後の課題とする.
