【研究の目的】障害のある子どもの家族の問題について,障害児の看護に熟練した看護師がどのように発見していくのか,看護師がおこなう家族の問題の発見について,構造とプロセスを明らかにする。平成19年度は明らかになったカテゴリーの関連性について明らかにする。【研究の方法】グラウンデット、セオリー、アプローチを使用して分析した結果,平成18年の研究によって,4つのカテゴリーを抽出した。そのカテゴリーの関連性についてカテゴリー関係図を用いて検討した。カテゴリー関係図が出来上がった時点で,対象とした看護師3名に掲示して,結果の妥当性を確認した。【研究結果】看護師は家族の問題を把握するために,<問題の糸口に敏感になる>こてによって《問題の糸口をつかむ》ことをしていた。糸口をつかんだ看護師はその問題の原因が何なのか《問題の探索》をおこなっていた。探索の方法は,子どもの体調や家族の躊躇の程度によって,<口を開く探索方法>を用いるか,または<家族の選択を取り入れた探索方法>を用いていた。そして,家族が口火をきり始めると,どのようなことが問題であるのか《問題の把握》がなされていた。ところが,看護師が問題の糸口をつかんでいないにもかかわらず,義務感だけで問題の探索をしてしまうと家族は口を閉ざしてしまい,<口を閉ざす探索方法>になってしまうこともあった。
