项目摘要

本研究は、生活空問を構成するエレメント(都市環境装置等のアーバンエレメントや生活エレメント等の人工物要素)の調査分析からエレメントデザインが地域ブランド創成に果たす役割と効果を明らかにすると共に、今後の地域ブランド創成におけるデザイン方法の構築のための指標を導きだすことが目的である。平成18年度は、国内外の地域事例についての文献調査と分析結果から、キーセンテンスによる公共・公的空間エレメントに関する傾向を把握した。また、サンプル地域別公共・公的空間とエレメントの実態調査により分布特性を抽出し、さらに対象空間や周辺の地域特性等についての基礎資料を整理した。次に、ケースタディ地区(熊本県小国町)調査から地域の各種特性と先行事例調査との比較資料をまとめ、最後に以上の分析結果から公共・公的空間のエレメントが地域の景観や生活空間形成に関して影響を与える要因についての検討を行った。平成19年度はエレメントが地域性ある景観の創出に果たす役割と効果に着目し、景観の感性価値とその形成要因としての構成要素の役割と効果を明らかにすることによって、地域性創出のための景観構成要素のデザイン方法の指標を導き出す事を試みた。景観評価の事例調査と分析の結果、数種類の感性価値を抽出し、その形成要因には景観構成要素の他に個人の持つイメージなど要素が確認された。次に、抽出した感性価値を基準とした景観評価実験を行った結果、景観構成要素の変化が景観の連続性と多様性の創出に影響することや、路面デザインや建築ファサードが感性価値形成に大きな役割を担うこと等を導いた。また、景観構成要素に対する個別評価調査と分析の結果、スカイラインや植栽などが感性価値形成に大きな役割を持ち、装置類のデザインが景観の調和性に影響を与えること等を導き、最後に以上の分析結果をまとめ、地域性ある景観創出のためのエレメントデザイン方法を導いた。
